Matrix Head Start is an integral part of the community and in the lives of children and families. It is a federally funded, comprehensive program serving low-income children zero to five years of age, special needs children and their families, pregnant teens adults. The focus is on parents in order to empower them to provide for themselves and their families while preparing for the future. We are prepared to meet the challenges and changes faced by the children, families, and community we serve. 

All are welcome every Monday from Noon - 1:30 pm to receive free food from Forgotten Harvest (distribution times may vary depending on the arrival of the delivery truck). Enter parking lot via Chester Street - parking available in rear of lot. Sign in required - this determines the amount of food we receive weekly.

We just completed a fundraiser in April 2025 called The Freedom Project, to refresh and re-furnish our Retreat Center! We hosted our first retreat in mid July. Come stay, relax and fellowship, or have a meeting or small social event in our beautiful facility.  More details below.
